Open FDATool Realize Model panel to create a Simulink filter block

Syntax

Description

Note    You must have Simulink installed to use this function.

dspfwiz opens FDATool with the Realize Model panel displayed. See Exporting to Simulink for information on using this panel.

Use other panels in FDATool to design your filter and then use the Realize Model panel to create your filter as a subsystem block, which is a combination of Sum, Gain, and Integer Delay blocks, in a Simulink model.

If you also have the Signal Processing Blockset installed, you can create a Digital Filter block instead of a subsystem block, by deselecting the Build model using basic elements check box. For more information on the differences between these types of blocks, see Choosing Between Filter Design Blocks in the Signal Blockset documentation.
