Charts

  1. In the VQB Charting dialog box, first select the type of chart you want to create from the list of Charts.
  1. For more information about chart types, see the appropriate MATLAB reference page: bar, bar3, bar3h, barh, comet, comet3, contour, contour3, contourf, cylinder, errorbar, feather, fill, fill3, loglog, mesh, meshc, meshz, pie, pie3, plot, plot3, polar, quiver, quiver3, ribbon, scatter, scatter3, semilogx, semilogy, stairs, stem, stem3, surf, surfc, surfl, surfnorm, and waterfall.

  1. After selecting a chart type, a preview of that chart, using the data from the query results, appears at the bottom of the VQB Charting dialog box.
  1. If the type of chart you selected cannot be created given the data from the query results, an error message appears in the preview area. Select a different type of chart for your data or see help for the selected chart type.

  1. Next, select the X Data, Y Data, Z Data, and Color Data.
