This region allows you to select a filter design method. The methods that you see listed depend on the current selection in the Response Type region.

Elliptic	ellip	available for the Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass, and Bandstop response types only
Maximally flat	maxflat	available for the Lowpass and Highpass response types only

Least-squares	firls	available for all response types, except Raised Cosine.
